Pumpkin Patch Safety Field Trip Experience

Join us for an unforgettable fall field trip that’s both fun and educational at Madera’s Pumpkin Patch! This unique event, hosted at the Madera Fairgrounds, blends hands-on Halloween safety education with all the festive excitement of the pumpkin patch.

Event Details

Dates: October 16–27, 2025 (Weekdays Only)
Time Slots: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Flexible start times available)
Trip Length: 1.5 to 3 hours
Location: Madera Fairgrounds, 1850 Cleveland Ave, Madera, CA 93637
Cost: $25 per student (includes all activities, snacks, a pumpkin, and return visit voucher)

Field Trip Highlights

Safety First: Interactive 20–30 minute presentation led by local police and first responders. Includes a Halloween safety talk, Q&A, patrol car and gear displays.
Pumpkin Patch Adventure: Each student picks their very own pumpkin and receives a special BOGO pass to return with their family.
Activity Stations:
- Hay Maze & Play Zone
- Fall Photo Booth (class and individual photos)
- Guess-the-Weight Game (with a mystery prize!)
- Pumpkin Pick-Up Station
Tasty Treats: Complimentary drink (water or juice) and snack choice (pretzels, chips, or candy) for students. Fresh apple cider and bakery treats provided for teachers and chaperones.
